I have an awful lot to be thankful for.

First, Jesus Christ died for me.   He went to the cross and paid my debt in full.  I can never be good enough or do enough good stuff to deserve it.  It was a free gift...Grace.  I can call Him  Father.  I make lots of mistakes; fail at being what the Lord wants me to be, but by faith in His Son,  God sees me as one of His children..... calls me one of His. 

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife who I have been married to for twenty five years.  She continues to be a source of strength,  support and inspiration.  He has also blessed us with eight children that we are able to home school.

I have been given the opportunity to work at a craft that I really enjoy and I know that the tools,  any talent or creative abilities that I may have, and the customers I work for are all by the Grace of God,  hence the name  ...."My Father's Workshop."

The work from this shop is done one piece at a time. The desire to please the customer,  to use time-honored joinery techniques and the gifts given are the motivation behind the work.

 Whether it's an idea that I come up with or the desires of the client the goal is always the same.   I want to fill the need for high quality, hand-crafted furniture that is made just for you.
